Asian Side/Kadikoy/Uskudar

Whilst it is a fascinating area in its own right, we would not recommend to stay on the Asian side of Istanbul if you are only going for a few days. There are many interesting places to visit if you have more time in Istanbul but you might find that you spend a disproportionate amount of time commuting to the major sightseeing sites if you stay there. But if you have your heart set on staying in "Asia", we would recommend that you consider one of the many traditional hotels in Kadikoy, a former fishing village.
